Daniel Jones
CEO & Founder
When you work with Daniel, you get more than a broker who arranges finance; you get a partner who understands complex needs and stays with you for the long haul. Since 2005, he has specialised in lending for medical, dental and other professional clients, working across residential, commercial and asset finance, leasing and practice fit-outs. His expertise also extends to wealth management, including superannuation, investments, insurance, debt management and estate planning.
Before founding Specialist Broking, Daniel was a commercial pilot with major Australian airlines. He sees strong parallels between flying and broking — organisation, prioritisation, problem-solving and empathy — and applies these skills to every client relationship. This unique perspective allows him to navigate complex lending with the same precision and foresight he once used in the flight deck.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Economics (Economics and Finance) from the University of Sydney, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking. He brings clarity to complex lending scenarios, drawing on an extensive network of lenders, including specialist banking services, to create tailored strategies that support clients now and into the future.
Based on the Mid North Coast, he balances life between broking and raising three young children.
Director
Fouad Haque
Fouad has worked in commercial banking since 2008, holding senior roles at Westpac and CommBank where he managed complex lending portfolios and long-term business relationships. His background spans credit analysis, structured finance and relationship management, with a focus on helping SMEs and mid-sized businesses navigate funding with clarity and confidence.
He holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Macquarie University and a Master of Applied Finance from Western Sydney University. At Specialist Broking, Fouad leads our commercial and asset lending work, bringing deep credit insight and strategic thinking to every deal.
Fouad lives in Sydney with his wife and two children. He brings a calm, solutions-focused approach grounded in trust, experience and a genuine interest in how businesses grow.
Alison Dunn Jones
Director — Impact & Strategy
Alison leads growth, strategy and partnerships at Specialist Broking, building the systems, relationships and communications that help the business deliver meaningful impact. With a background in business consultancy, communications, and program delivery, she brings deep experience across leadership, health, safety and education sectors.
Alison has led national campaigns and change initiatives that connect diverse stakeholders, from health practitioners to safety leaders, and Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners — always with a focus on clarity, collaboration and long-term change.
Alison’s academic background spans media and communications, government and international relations, anatomy and physiology, and marine biology. An advanced scuba diver and ocean lover, she shares three children with Daniel.
Carly Collins
Client Experience Manager
Carly helps turn clients’ property goals into reality, providing expert guidance at every step of their journey. She brings a strong understanding of global market dynamics and Australian real estate, shaped by her time in London with American Express and with Cunninghams Property on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Carly’s passion for property extends beyond work. Having renovated and sold numerous homes alongside her builder husband, she brings valuable firsthand insight to every client interaction. Carly’s knowledge and commitment ensure she delivers sound financial guidance, helping clients make informed decisions and maximise their investments.
Cassandra Anstee
Client Service Officer
With a strong background in real estate and experience as an Emirates cabin crew member in Dubai, Cassandra brings a polished and personable approach to every interaction. She values building strong relationships, knowing they are key to delivering seamless and successful outcomes.
Cass has been known to bust out a happy dance when a file receives the green tick of approval; a reflection of her dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to going the extra mile for each client.
Christine Ong
Lending Operations Manager
Christine has worked in mortgage operations since 2009, with leadership experience across Australia and the United Kingdom. At Resimac, she led a 100-person team in the Philippines, managing Australian mortgage operations with a focus on efficiency, risk management and client care. Christine later joined Pepper Money UK, leading a specialist underwriting team assessing complex mortgage applications for clients with non-standard financial profiles.
Christine’s professional journey began in occupational therapy, working with patients experiencing physical dysfunction, mental health conditions and developmental delays. As Christine says, “I am passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their life goals” — an ethos that translates seamlessly to specialist lending.
At Specialist Broking, Christine oversees our lending operations, ensuring every file is handled with structure, consistency and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Christine loves travelling through Asia and immersing herself in local cultures. Her passport is brimming with Japanese travel stamps.

With Daniel’s background as a pilot and Alison’s decade-long experience in Indigenous education, we’ve journeyed across the eastern seaboard — from the Eora Nation in Sydney to the lands of the Yirrgandji people in Cairns, the Kombumerri people on the Gold Coast, and the Biripi people of the Mid-North Coast.
